The Foto Colectania Foundation is a non-profit organization, created in Barcelona in 2002, with the aim of promoting photography and making it known in the Spanish social, artistic, and educational spheres.
What to see at Foto Colectania Barcelona?
A remarkable place to discover photography, Foto Colectania organizes exhibitions, conferences, and meetings. Its objective is to introduce historical, lesser-known, or emerging photographers. The Foundation also has a library specializing in photography and a collection of over 3,000 works by 80 Catalan, Spanish, and Portuguese photographers, which continues to grow thanks to donations.

Foto Colectania in Pictures
Since 2017, the foundation has moved to a new space, located behind the Picasso Museum and the Moco Barcelona, across from the Parc de la Ciutadella. Each exhibition is a little gem worth taking the time to visit.

How to get to Foto Colectania

Hop-on Hop-Off Barcelona: The Barcelona Bus Turístic is a very convenient option for accessing Foto Colectania. By choosing the East Route (Blue), you can get off at the "Parc de la Ciutadella - Zoo" stop, just a few minutes' walk from the foundation.
Taxi or walking: Ideal for visitors close to the center.
Bicing: Bicycling is an ideal option for getting to Foto Colectania, especially passing through the nearby Parc de la Ciutadella. Barcelona has many bike lanes, and you'll find Bicing (city's bike-sharing service) stations near the entrance, especially along Passeig Picasso.
