Alexandra Barcelona Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Located close to two iconic Gaudi houses and tucked away on a side street between Pse. Gracia and La Rambla, this hotel offers a convenient location for exploring Barcelona. However, it should be noted that it is not situated in the historic Gothic quarter, which may require a 30-minute walk to reach. Our room was pleasant and we were lucky to have been upgraded to a street-facing view. Surprisingly, the window quality was top-notch and effectively blocked out any noise from the bustling street below. The room itself was slightly larger than the average European size and was equipped with a small refrigerator and safe. As a Diamond member, we opted for the free hotel breakfast which offered a decent selection of fruits, cheeses, breads, and even scrambled eggs and bacon. We did not dine at the hotel for other meals as there were plenty of dining options within a block or two. One restaurant recommended by the front desk staff became our favorite spot in Barcelona, however, we regret not being able to recall its name. Overall, our stay was pleasant but we may consider staying closer to the water and in the old town on our next visit.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city. We were able to easily access shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing destinations. The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping was excellent, always arriving in a timely manner and providing thorough service. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip.

The hotel's location was superb, the service was top-notch, and the price was reasonable, especially during the off-season. However, the breakfast options were limited for an additional cost. The room was cozy and just the right size. The hotel also offers car and bicycle rentals, making it convenient to pick up and drop off on-site. However, the parking slope was narrow and required skillful maneuvering.

👍 The location was 🔝 for exploring all the 💎 tourist spots in Barcelona. It was a 🎉 to see all of Gaudi's work! 🚶‍♀️or🚇- everything was so close. The hotel was 🧼, contemporary and had a tranquil ambiance. The staff really went the extra mile to make us feel 🙌 and 🌟. I've stayed at countless hotels, but this one really stood out. Can't wait to 🔄!

During my stay in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a lovely hotel in a prime location. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. I was able to easily walk to some of the best attractions in the city, such as La Rambla and Casa Batllo, which were only a few blocks away. Additionally, the hotel was situated near some great shopping spots. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was definitely worth the price. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and felt that it was a great value for the cost.
