My recent stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was cozy and inviting, with a very comfortable bed and excellent cleanliness. The rain shower and high-end toiletries added a luxurious touch to our stay. We opted for the breakfast package and were delighted with the wonderful buffet options, including a specialty item of our choice. We also had the chance to enjoy the peaceful outdoor seating area and indulged in the Instagram-worthy tree dessert one night. The staff were incredibly attentive, particularly Tobias and Olivia at the FD. Olivia helped me with my reservation and Tobias went above and beyond to assist with all of my inquiries, even finding a converter for my electronics. The location was ideal, as it was only a 15-minute walk to all the major spots, and the area was not overly touristy, yet still had everything we needed within minutes. The concierge team, known as the Gossypium, were exceptional in helping us book activities and dining reservations. Their five-star professionalism was evident when I checked in and received a personalized package with all of my tickets and a letter guiding me on everything I needed to know. As someone who has worked as a concierge before, I was impressed by their efficiency and attention to detail, particularly by Lucca who was my main point of contact. The hotel also had a pool and exercise room, though we didn't get the chance to use them due to the cold weather. I want to thank all of the staff for making our visit truly memorable.
I had a wonderful time during my recent stay in Barcelona. The room I was given was perfect for a solo traveler like myself, and I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Madras room from a basic Panama room due to my Platinum Elite status. The room was well-equipped and not too cluttered, with beautiful hardwood floors adding a touch of elegance. The unique layout of the room was interesting, with the shower and toilet in separate mini "rooms" and the sink out in the main area. However, this may not be suitable for those traveling with others who are not as comfortable with such intimacy. I lucked out with a room facing the street, which allowed me to fully experience the bustling city atmosphere. I've heard there are rooms facing an interior courtyard, but I'm not sure I would have enjoyed those as much. Being from New York City, I found the noise level to be manageable even with the windows shut. Although I didn't have a chance to use it, the library on the first floor looked beautiful and spacious. The design of the hotel was unique and refreshing, far from the cookie cutter style of other hotels. I highly recommend trying the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant - it was delicious and convenient. I was also glad to know that room service was available 24 hours, with a limited menu after hours. The Ortiga toiletries provided were a lovely touch, and I especially loved the house air freshener, which was also available for purchase in a convenient 100ml size for 25€. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly Mario and Lucia. I found the chat function on the app to be extremely handy, with quick responses from whoever was monitoring it. Make sure not to miss the stunning view from the rooftop, even though the weather was too cold for a swim during my stay. The sunrise was still a beautiful sight to behold. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stick around for the sunset, but I'm sure it would have been equally spectacular. The rooftop offers a clear view of the famous Sagrada Familia. I am extremely grateful to Mario for extending my stay by a night and allowing me to keep my upgraded room when my flight was cancelled last minute. It helped alleviate some stress during a difficult situation. The surrounding area of the hotel is also worth exploring. I highly recommend taking a stroll down Carrer de Girona, where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. There are also several benches, perfect for resting and watching people pass by. On my last day, I stumbled upon a market called La Concepcio, located off Carrer de Girona. It was a great find! Access to the metro was easy, and I highly recommend purchasing the "hola Barcelona" card, which can be picked up at a ticket machine at the airport. However, I ended up walking most of the time, so it might have been more cost-effective to purchase single ride tickets. Nevertheless, it was nice to have the option to hop on a bus or metro without worrying about buying a ticket. Overall, I had a lovely stay in Barcelona and cannot wait to return.
Located in a fantastic area and with easy access to all the major attractions, this hotel is the perfect choice for your stay in Barcelona. However, the standout feature of this place is not just its location. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like the most important guest. Be sure to try their delicious breakfast which rivals even the best country club Sunday brunch. And don't forget to treat yourself to a drink at the bar, I highly recommend the Pencilin cocktail. The dinner menu is also worth trying, you won't be disappointed. The rooms are elegantly decorated, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep.
Our experience at Cotton House was nothing short of delightful. This chic and uniquely designed hotel left us in awe from the moment we stepped inside. The moody and stylish decor added to the overall ambiance of the hotel. Our beds were unbelievably comfortable and provided a peaceful night's sleep. We were impressed with the housekeeping team's attention to detail, as our room was constantly kept tidy and clean. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the exceptional staff. From the warm welcome we received from Tobias at the Front desk, who even treated us to a complimentary glass of Cava, to the attentive service we received throughout our stay, we were made to feel truly taken care of. We particularly enjoyed spending time at the bar, where bartenders Lucas and Ramiro entertained us with their delightful conversations. In all, this hotel has truly set the bar high when it comes to stellar service, and we doubt you will find a better staff anywhere else.
My recent stay at a hotel in Barcelona was just as lovely as the photos had promised. The hotel's location was ideal and the bar and restaurant were exceptional, with a standout experience at Vito. While the room was on the smaller side and the shower had a unique design, the bed was surprisingly comfortable - one of the best I've slept in while traveling. All in all, I would definitely choose to stay here again.
