Hotel Àmbit Barcelona

During my recent stay at the Hotel Àmbit Barcelona in Barcelona, I was impressed by the lovely boutique atmosphere of the hotel. Located in the heart of the city, it was within walking distance to all of the great attractions. Additionally, there was a convenient shop and pharmacy nearby, making it even more convenient. The metro was also just 200 yards away, making it easy to explore the city. The area was well served with delicious tapas and tavernas, making it a food lover's paradise.

The room itself was beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The sheets were crisp and the bed was cozy, making for a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. I also appreciated the simple yet delicious breakfast options, which were served buffet style. There was plenty to choose from and it was clear that the staff took great care in ensuring everything was fresh and tasty. Speaking of the staff, I must say that their service was truly lovely. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help in any way possible.

Overall, I highly recommend the Hotel Àmbit Barcelona for a wonderful stay in Barcelona. From the prime location to the comfortable accommodations and delightful service, it truly was a memorable experience.

The room size was sufficient and the bed provided a comfortable rest. The hotel also features a cozy lounge complete with a diverse selection of books, particularly focused on Barcelona's must-see destinations. A small yet delightful honor bar offers a variety of beverages including beer, wine, and Scotch. The breakfast buffet offers a range of options to suit different preferences. The staff were extremely amiable and helpful. The location proved to be ideal for visiting various attractions within walking distance. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

This was an 🤩amazing central hotel for a holiday in Barcelona! It was incredibly 🧼clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. 🛤It was only a short taxi ride away from the airport and was close to the 🧭Gothic quarter, La Rambla and the beach - all within walking distance, though it was quite a steady walk to the beach, about 1.5 miles. We would definitely stay 🤝here again!

We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my 70th birthday. Although the general atmosphere of the hotel was satisfactory, on the evening we arrived we could not use the balcony nor have the patio doors open due to the loud noise coming from the basketball games taking place in the school(s) nearby. Unfortunately, the noise started early again the next morning. The hotel provides 24-hour tea and coffee facilities on the first floor, and also comes with a kettle in each room; however, paper cups were never replenished after the second day. On the second day, the shower tray filled with water, overflowed and ran out underneath the door while my wife was showering. It took some time for the water to drain away before I could take my shower. When we were leaving that morning, we informed the concierge (Daniel), but nothing was done. We had no towels left in our room when we returned after barely an hour, so we asked the receptionist for some. Initially she said she couldn't leave the desk as she was the only one, but she eventually brought them up. Upon inspection, it seems the problem with the shower is an ongoing one, which is quite disappointing.

Stayed 3 nights. Hotel Àmbit Barcelona is a great choice. It's well placed with plenty of nearby shops and amenities, plus public transport links. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and an air-conditioning system that you can control yourself. Bonus points for the generous breakfast buffet, 24-hour free coffee and the quaint outdoor patio. There are two elevators, making it easy to reach the higher floors. The service was friendly and we'd like to make a special mention to Daniel, who worked the morning shift - he was excellent, passionate about making the guests happy. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back soon!
