The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot and finding great dining spots and bars. While the room was a bit cramped, the hotel was tidy and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the restaurant, terrace bar, and pool were closed in early March. It's understandable though, as Barcelona is currently experiencing a drought. Water usage was limited and baths were not an option, but these measures are necessary.
I had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Astoria in Barcelona. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I was able to stay connected with the excellent wifi. The breakfast was also top-notch – a great start to the day. The hotel's location is perfect for both work and leisure, as it is just a stone's throw away from the major landmarks of Barcelona. I loved being in such close proximity to Avinguda Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia. A highly recommended hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona.
During my stay in Barcelona, I was impressed by the excellent service and the stunning beauty of the hotel. However, I must admit that the constant noise was extremely bothersome. The thin windows made it seem like they were wide open, and the doors were definitely not soundproof. I could hear every single noise from the hall, every time a door was opened or closed. It was challenging to get a good night's sleep without being disturbed by the sounds of other guests or the traffic outside.
Our accommodations were immaculate and the staff was exceptionally hospitable and accommodating during our stay. The hotel's central location made it easy to access public transportation, and we were surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and cafes. We were able to reach Catalunya square within a 10 minute walk, or take the conveniently located bus service right outside the hotel.
😍 Our recent stay at this hotel was amazing! The cleanliness levels were top-notch, from the rooms to the lobby. The staff were incredibly kind and the location was 👌. Whether you prefer walking or taking public transportation, this hotel is conveniently situated near many attractions and metro stations. We will definitely be 🏃 back for another stay!
