My recent stay at a European hotel in Barcelona was absolutely marvelous. From the moment I arrived, I felt like royalty just by looking at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful, which meant a lot to me as a traveler in an electric wheelchair who required extra assistance. Despite having small rooms, they were comfortable and even had 24-hour snacks and drinks available. The location was perfect, with plenty of attractions nearby. I truly enjoyed my experience here and would definitely choose to stay here again if I ever return to Barcelona.
This compact and conveniently located hotel in central Barcelona exceeded our expectations. The historic building exuded character and charm, and although it may not cater to those in search of luxurious modern amenities, the excellent staff and reasonably priced accommodations more than made up for it. With its prime location on La Rambla, we were able to easily explore the city on foot and visit all the main attractions.
This hotel in Barcelona has a great location and the dining room is both stylish and quiet. The buffet had a great selection, which was perfect for our stay. Despite this, we have to give it a 3 star rating due to issues with noise in the rooms. We had two Comfort Rooms which were of an adequate size and the bed was particularly comfortable. Unfortunately, the air con was louder than desired and a fan outside was also quite noisy. To top this off, there was no natural sunlight shining through the window. However, the hotel was kind enough to move us to a quieter room which really helped. If you plan on booking a Comfort Room, it’s highly advisable to bring a pair of ear plugs. Still, it remains a beautiful and friendly hotel, and we may just have been unlucky with our initial room allocation.
This delightful accommodation is situated in an old mansion, boasting high gilded ceilings and chandeliers. We were warmly welcomed by Serena and Laia at the front desk who helped us make arrangements for tours andbooked our airport taxi. As we arrived at the hotel early in the morning after disembarking from a cruise ship, Andre was really helpful in caring for our luggage while we explored Barcelona for the day. We were delighted to find that when we returned, our luggage had already been placed in the room. The hospitality provided by the hotel exceeded our expectations, with food service options available for us to grab a snack, have a drink or make a meal at any time.
I'm recommending this hotel to anyone who intends to stay in Barcelona. The location is great and the rooms are very spacious, perfect for larger groups. There's also a 24-hour buffet, which was a huge plus for us. We had a family of 6 stay here 4 years ago and I still recommend it today.
