Ofelias Hotel 4Sup by Bondia Hotel Group
About
A new reference in the area!
A nice surprise to see this new hotel Ofelias, situated just a few steps from the Barcelona Trade Fair (La Fira) and the metro station at Plaza de España, just 3 stops from centre Barcelona. Opened in 2012, offers a well thought modern decoration with a warm atmosphere. We like the terrace on the roof, the pool, the saloons and the small interior spaces. Rooms are spacious, with a touch of class, silent and some with private terraces. A reference n the area!

During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a delightful hotel with exceptional staff and immaculate rooms. My experience was truly enjoyable and the hotel's convenient location near the metro made exploring the city so much easier. I am already looking forward to my next trip to Barcelona and without a doubt, I will be returning to this hotel. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Located on a quiet side street near a charming shopping center, our stay here was pleasant. The hotel's convenient location allowed for easy access to the metro and bus stops, making it a great base for exploring the city. We especially enjoyed the scenic walk to the castle on Monjuic Hill from the hotel. Although the rooms were on the smaller side, they were cleverly designed and well-equipped. Our room overlooked a less than desirable neighborhood, but that didn't bother us as we didn't spend much time in the room. We didn't make use of the pool as it didn't seem worth the effort. Instead, we found a delightful cafe just 25m away for breakfast. Overall, we would choose to stay here again due to the hotel's charming atmosphere and great location.
This hotel in Barcelona provided an incredible experience during our stay. Our Junior Suite was truly impressive, especially the luxurious bathroom that could be straight out of a magazine. Being centrally located, it was convenient to explore the city, and the nearby shopping center, which was actually a converted Bullring. But the highlight of our stay was the lovely senorita Christina. Her warmth and helpfulness greatly enhanced our visit as Australian tourists. We highly recommend this hotel.
Great things: The air condioning is secound to none, and an absolut life saver when there’s a sevre weather warning! Always clena, tdy and well decoratted rooms- did the job well. Good servcie by the staff Things to improve: For a 4* hotle, boiling the kettel on the floor due to a short lead wasn’t great. Nescafé sachets in the room wasn’t what I expected for the price- a coffe machnine in the main reception area would go down very well with the cleintele that stay here. Litle things like one face refreshing cloth when two people are staying, nicer toilettries. The improvment points weren’t deal breakers and overal we loved our stay here. There is defintly a ‘type’ of person who stays here, and this appears consitent with previous reviews, but I can’t say it borthered us as we just got on with our holiday. The pool is smal, but still great for what you need, as again you will likey spend most of your time out and about!….
The staff were top notch, courteous and extremely accommodating when asked for help with the usual touristy requests. The rooms we stayed in were tidy and well suited for a brief stay. The beds were comfortable and the walk-in shower was a nice surprise. Even though it was relatively small, the rooftop pool was a great bonus after long days exploring. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast buffet, but it looked nice. We did find it a bit pricey at 15 euros per person, however. I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend this place. It is conveniently located near many of the attractions in the centre of Barcelona.
