During our recent trip to Barcelona, my partner and I stayed at a hotel for 5 nights in January. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and always available to assist us. The rooms were modern and spacious, and we couldn't help but notice that the hotel was also easily accessible for those with reduced mobility. The walk-in showers and lifts to all floors were a great convenience. As for the location, it was approximately a 25-minute walk to the Sagrada Familia, a 15-minute walk to the Arc d’triomph, a 35-40 minute walk to Barceloneta, and a 50-minute walk to Park Guell. If walking is not your preference, the closest metro station is just across from the arc d’triomph, making it easy to get around the city. The only minor issue we encountered was with the air conditioning, which didn't seem to cool the room down enough. However, this didn't affect our stay as we visited in January, but it may be something to consider during the hotter summer months. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience the breakfast as we opted to visit local bakeries for our morning meals.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sercotel Caspe Hotel in Barcelona for a 5-night business trip. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff. The entire hotel was impeccably clean, which was a great first impression. My room was no exception - it was spotless and even had a delightful surprise of welcome chocolates. Whether for business or personal travel, I would gladly stay here again. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with plenty of nearby transportation options. Overall, I highly recommend the Sercotel Caspe Hotel for an enjoyable stay in Barcelona.
The hotel was immaculately clean and in a fantastic location, providing convenient access to all that Barcelona has to offer. The staff, particularly at the front desk, were very pleasant and helpful. However, the buffet breakfast left something to be desired as there was limited variety and unfortunately, the toaster was out of order throughout our entire stay. As for the restaurant, we would recommend skipping it altogether as the prices were high and the quality of the food was subpar; our one attempt at dining there was met with disappointment, as the fish and chips were barely edible. Instead, we found better value and a wider selection of dining options down the street on the main road. Overall, we would happily return to this hotel, but would make sure to dine elsewhere.
Located within walking distance of popular sites like Sagrada de Familia and L Arc de Triumph, this hotel offers convenient access to some of Barcelona's top attractions. While the city is well-connected with various modes of transportation, this hotel is not centrally located to Las Ramblas or the beach. As a budget-conscious traveler, I found this to be the most expensive hotel during my trip to Spain and I was disappointed with the value for the price. The breakfast was decent, but nothing exceptional. The entry to the breakfast area, however, felt unwelcoming with a barricade that must be crossed before being seated. As a guest, I was not impressed by this added inconvenience. Additionally, the staff member overseeing the breakfast had a less-than-friendly reaction when I accidentally turned off the coffee machine. On another occasion, when I was chatting with my sister in the hallway outside our rooms, another guest complained about the noise despite us not speaking loudly. This made me question the soundproofing of the rooms. To top it off, I was also charged a city tax of 29 Euros for my two-day stay, which seemed excessive after already paying a high rate for the room. On a positive note, the reception staff was very welcoming and the lady in charge of breakfast was courteous. The rooms were also decent and clean. In summary, while the staff and rooms are satisfactory, the high price for the facilities and services offered makes this hotel difficult to recommend.

The hotel was spotless and the staff at the reception desk were friendly and accommodating. We had booked a three-night stay which included breakfast, but unfortunately, we were disappointed by the limited breakfast options. The only cooked items available were eggs and bacon and the toaster was not functioning properly during our entire stay. As a result, my wife ended up skipping breakfast two out of three days. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening, but the fried fish we ordered was nearly inedible due to being overly tough. Needless to say, we did not dine there again. However, the hotel's location is ideal for exploring the city on foot. Overall, it is a lovely hotel located in a great area, but I would recommend dining at one of the numerous local restaurants instead.
