👍 I had a great stay at this hotel! It was conveniently located near a metro station, as well as plenty of bars and cafes. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although they were a bit on the smaller side. It could get a little noisy at times. It was about a ten minute walk down a lovely boulevard to the La Sagrada Familia. 🚶♂️ Just make sure to book tickets well in advance, as it tends to sell out! 🎫
My first ever solo travel experience and it was a success! 🤩 Room was clean and the staff were friendly 👍 Located in an accessible spot near the metro and local cafes for breakfast ✅ Sagrada Familia and Park Güell were only 10/15 mins walk away respectively (though hilly 🧗♀️). Reception staff were exceptionally helpful, giving me a full breakdown on the best way to the airport and recommending an hola Barcelona travel card 🗺️. A couple of things to bear in mind - the metalwork under the sink was sharp and I scratched myself, and unfortunately one night the fire alarm went off at 2/3am. Despite evacuating, no one knew what had triggered it. 👀 All in all, a pleasant stay ☺️
I ended up in three separate room for different reasons. Each was of a reasonable size and reasonably well-equipped. One had a terrace, one a balcony and the third neither. If you had a room on the 6th floor the elevator went to the fifth and you have to use the stairs for the final floor. All rooms were clean apart from the presence of ants, and had a kettle, safe, fridge and television (which I didn't use). The internet was free and pretty fast. My first night was good, but when I came back to my room the second evening there were hundreds of flying ants all over the bed, floor and bathroom. This was unacceptable, and when I raised the concern at reception I was moved to another room. This room had an electricity problem, and again I was forced to move rooms. It was now very late, and the receptionist was unable to find another hotel for me, so the third room was allocated to another guest who failed to show up. I was so stressed and tired it completely spoiled my stay, and I was offered no compensation for all the hassle. Had my review been based of my first night, I would have given it a 5/5, however the second night receives a 1/5.
This place was great! Extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. It was in a great location close to Sagrada Familia and the Metro. I will definitely be back, it's perfect for a budget stay. The nearby blue bus route is great for a sightseeing tour. The staff had really good tips for breakfast and a great tapas bar. Highly recommended, 5 stars all round!
Good location - only 10 minutes to the metro station and close to the Sagrada Familia. Rooms are small but very tidy. No fridge in the room but there is a safety deposit box available for a €25 charge. No luggage storage, but some rooms come with a small balcony. A decent hotel for a short stay.
