👍 The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. 🍴 The breakfast had options to please everyone, 🏨 the staff was very helpful and the prices were reasonable. 🚇🛍️ The location was in a peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from the María Cristina station, shops, and restaurants. 😊 I was so happy to have chosen this hotel for my stay in Barcelona!
This hotel provided me with all the necessary amenities and services during my stay. Its location was convenient for exploring the city. The bed was cozy and the room met the expectations for a business traveler. The housekeeping staff did a great job of keeping my room clean and organized. However, I must mention that the reception team stood out for their hard work and genuine helpfulness, always greeting me with a smile.
During my stay at the Arenas Atiram Hotels in Barcelona, I had a concerning experience with the central air conditioning. The manager, Enrique, suggested that I change hotels, as it is common for Atiram hotels to turn off the air conditioning during autumn and winter. However, after persisting on the issue, they eventually installed a portable AC unit that was quite noisy. This is something that should be made clear before confirming a booking with the hotel or on their website.
This hotel was quite typical for tourists, with friendly staff and a reasonable breakfast. However, despite paying for a family room, we were given a triple room instead. When we asked for the correct room, we were informed that the hotel was at full capacity and we couldn't switch. I even sent an email after our stay but have yet to receive a response. Overall, it was a letdown.
Although the Hotel boasts a 4 star rating, I found it to be more on par with a 2 star establishment. Unfortunately, my experience was hindered by the outdated and noisy elevator which required me to carry my bags up the stairs. Despite my request for a room away from the elevator, I was given 707 and had to endure the heavy noise of the elevator door throughout my stay. To make matters worse, there was some sort of construction or hammering occurring on a Sunday. The pillows provided were uncomfortably hard, despite my request for softer ones, and the bathroom amenities were of poor quality. I was disappointed to find that there were no regular tissues or lotion provided. Furthermore, the gentleman at the front desk during the morning hours was uninterested and more focused on smoking outside. Adding to my discomfort was the presence of mold in the bathroom. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
