Our recent stay in Barcelona was a perfect mix of exploring the city and taking some time to relax. Despite arriving an hour before check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready for us. The room was spacious with a cozy bed and great amenities like a coffee machine and fridge. Although we didn't receive the complimentary wine, we were grateful for the apples and bottled water left for us. The shower was fantastic and the breakfast offered a good selection, including cava and delicious pastries. Conveniently located near the Clot metro, all the main attractions were easily accessible. There were also supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a great bar nearby called Diego's. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating, even storing our bags on our last day so we could explore without them. If we ever return to Barcelona, we would happily stay here again.
Our stay during my 30th birthday celebration was delightful. The rooms were serene, well-maintained, and roomy. However, the breakfast area was a letdown as it was too small. On my special day, we were met with a long line outside the breakfast room, resulting in us skipping it and spending more money to dine out. The rooftop terrace was peaceful, and we often indulged in drinks while taking in the beautiful views. The bed was comfortable, and we were pleased to have a coffee machine with pods in the room. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to others. Additionally, its location near the Clot metro line proved to be extremely convenient. :)
The location of this hotel was ideal, being within walking distance of Sagrada Familia, shopping areas, and restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff was always welcoming and helpful. However, the room itself was quite small and lacked proper furniture. For instance, the coffee maker was crammed onto a tiny nightstand next to the bed because there was no other available space.
Just back from an incredible time at this hotel. All staff, from the front desk to the breakfast room staff and the cleaners, were extremely friendly. Our room was ready even though we were early for check-in and we were offered water or cava upon arrival. The room was generously sized with a very large bed, the biggest I've ever seen! In the room we were provided with water, apples and a red wine, along with coffee pods for our own coffee machine. The shower had three settings and was really powerful - the best shower I've had in years! There were also lots of little extras in the bathroom such as complimentary slippers, dental and razor kits, a sewing kit and a comb, plus a few toiletries too. The breakfast selection was amazing - with hot dishes like eggs, beans and bacon, cold meats and cheeses, fruits and salads, plus a yummy cereal and yoghurt bar and a bread station with freshly made items. Every day there were changes to some of the items on offer and, if you felt like it, you could even have a bottle of cava. The location in Clot was great - it was quiet and felt very safe. It's only two or three minutes from Clot Metro with two main lines, making it easy to get around the city and to the airport. And only a 10-15 minute walk to the Segrada Familia with lots of cafes, bars, bakeries etc in the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Barcelona. Thanks for an amazing stay!
We visited Barcelona as part of a wider trip, this was our last stop. We booked an apartment style room as have teenagers and wanted the space. Unbeknown to us the apartment was in another building, across the road and further up C de Mallorca, so we lugged our cases and off we went. Building is mixed, and clearly it is also residential which was surprising being a Leonardo Boutique 🤩 booking. Terrace view was a car park! Inside the apartment was great, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms 2 showers, clean and comfortable 🤗. Only 1 key given. Elevator. All tiled so really noisy though. Kitchen very tired. Felt more like an AirBnB experience though 🤔 and not Leonardo Boutique and if that was made clear at booking time then we would have just booked an apartment direct!! We had a great time in the City, it was very warm, great eateries on C de Rogent close by 😋. Sagrada Familia only a short walk away where you can pick up the hop on/hop off bus 🚌. Definitely do the Montjuïc cable car, but do take water as there’s no refreshments at the top 💦. Do visit Juice Dudes, great smoothies/coffees/matcha cookies and a nice vibe and game of chess while chilling 🧗♂️. Cafe con leche in Barcelona fabulous as always. Great family time had by all 🤗….
