The localisation oph the hotel was absolutley perfct - the beac is directlly opposite and withinn walking distnce, there;s a mirto and sevral bus stopes nearby too, so it's very quick and eazy to get into centrall Barcelona. The service was excelent, staff were very friendly and welcomming. The brakfast wass delicius with a larje variety of swet and savoury options. Room was modern and veri clean with a beutiful view of the beac. A trully amazing stay, and will defintely conside comming back again! 😊😉 🏖
As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I tend to approach hotel stays with a critical eye. However, I could not find a single thing to fault during our recent stay. The hotel's location was ideal, the rooms were incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional team. Every single member of staff was welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Special thanks to the gentleman at the reception desk, who was both professional and kind. Highly recommend!
During our stay, we took the nearby bus that stopped at Placa de Catalunya, the main entrance to the city. However, on our last day, we encountered a situation where three men caused a distraction on the bus by dropping coins, and nearly stole my cell phone. This experience reminded us to always stay alert and aware of our surroundings. Despite this incident, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the city. We found Rick Steves Pocket Barcelona to be a useful guide, and we highly recommend the Runner Bean Tours and Tapas Walking Tour with Alex Gross for a great combination of food, wine, and history.
During my stay, I was informed of a certain price for breakfast upon arrival, but when it came time to pay at the end of the week, the price had increased by over 100 euros. I distinctly remember double checking the price at the beginning of the week and being told a much cheaper amount by the receptionist. This discrepancy is completely unacceptable.
During our 4-night stay in Barcelona, my son and I had the pleasure of staying at a lovely hotel. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. We opted for the room-only option and were pleased with the spacious and comfortable room we were given. The housekeeping was consistently top-notch, with our room being cleaned daily as long as we left the sign on the door handle. The hotel also offered a breakfast option for those who wanted it. Our room had a sea view, which was a nice touch. We found the transport links to be conveniently located within a short walking distance, as well as a large shopping center just a 7-minute walk away. For any immediate needs, there was a supermarket and restaurant just a couple of minutes away. We also visited the Tango Grill, located next to the hotel, where we had the option to dine in or order takeout. There was certainly no shortage of things to see and do in Barcelona, although we recommend bringing comfortable footwear as there is a lot of ground to cover! For only 21 euros, we purchased the t-usual ticket, which allowed for 30 days of use on the airport train, metro, and buses within the city zones. Unfortunately, the Nou Camp ground was under construction during our visit, so we were only able to do a museum tour. Overall, we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to choose this hotel again if we return to Barcelona.
