The location of the hotel wasn't in the best area and the surroundings were not well maintained. The rooms were not soundproofed well, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The toilet made a loud and unsettling noise when flushed. One day, our room was not cleaned. The key card also deactivated multiple times during our stay. The beds were narrow and uncomfortable, lacking a top mattress. We were disappointed to find that there was no tea or coffee boiler provided in the room. The TV was small and did not have any international channels. Considering the standard of the hotel, we felt that the price was too high. Our single room was small and had a view of an unattractive backyard with other buildings.
During my recent trip to Barcelona, I stayed at a modest and contemporary two-star hotel located in a peaceful residential neighborhood. Despite its unassuming appearance, the hotel was conveniently situated near all the popular tourist spots. The compact rooms were impeccably clean and equipped with essential amenities. The continental breakfast, served in a cozy dining area, was satisfying and the staff were hospitable and accommodating. While it may not be considered trendy or luxurious enough for Instagram, this hotel was the perfect option for exploring the city without breaking the bank.
I recently stayed at a two-star hotel in Barcelona and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service. In fact, it was better than some 4-star hotels I've been to. The room was impeccably clean and the staff, particularly Christian, were extremely helpful and polite. While the hotel does not have a restaurant, they do offer croissants and coffee in a small room near the reception area. The location is also convenient, with a short 15-minute walk to both the lively Las Ramblas and the harbor. Overall, I found it to be excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again.
This place is conveniently located within walking distance of the Rambla and the area's popular eateries and bars. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was quiet. The accommodations are basic, yet had all the necessary amenities. The only drawback was that the price was a bit steep for what it offered.
What a wonderful experience at Hotel Nuevo Triunfo! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even provided a delicious breakfast every morning. The location was perfect- it was close to everything we needed. I am so happy that I chose to stay there and can't express enough gratitude for the great service I received. Highly recommend Hotel Nuevo Triunfo!
