The hotel was decent, with tidy rooms. However, they were lacking hand soap in the bathrooms, which was a bit unusual. It's essential for general hygiene and well-being. Also, the partition between the washroom and the bed seemed quite thin, so it's essential to be comfortable with your roommates. Additionally, there was a considerable amount of noise from outside and the hallways, so light sleepers may need to use earplugs for a peaceful night's rest.

My only advice would be to arrive early for breakfast as the restaurant tends to fill up quickly, and you may have to sit on high chairs. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Occidental Barcelona 1929 and would highly recommend it.
