Where to hire a car at Barcelona airport?

Car hire at Barcelona airport is very well organised.

There are two terminals at Barcelona airport, T1 and T2. In both terminals, the car rental companies are located at the terminal entrance or in the nearest car parks. The car rental companies are therefore very easy to find and very well signposted.

Where are the car hire companies located at Barcelona airport?

• At terminal T1 car hire companies are located in the terminal entrance hall (to the right and left of the Meeting Point floor 0) or directly in the T1 Park Car located in front of the entrance.
• At Terminal T2, car rental companies are located in the T2B terminal entrance hall (opposite Meeting Point floor 0).

How do I get to Barcelona Airport by car?

Barcelona Airport, whose official name is Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, is located in El Prat de Llobregat, a town about fifteen kilometres from Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of Barcelona. From Barcelona, you can take the C-31 which goes directly to the airport.

Parking in Barcelona is not complicated, but you must follow the rules carefully:

• Blue and green stripes indicate time-limited and paid parking zones. When parking, make sure you get a ticket from the nearest parking meter.
• The yellow lines indicate a ban on parking with your vehicle.
