Nestled in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, just 10 minutes from Barcelona Cathedral, Colección: Tapas y Cócteles is a beacon of culinary innovation. Although they remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, from Wednesday to Sunday they open their doors from 6.30pm, extending their warm welcome until midnight, and a little longer on Fridays and Saturdays until 1am.

Like many Barcelona venues, space is at a premium here. The staff were both pleasant and attentive. Each dish was served to us with meticulous presentation. The food was exquisite, and we enjoyed a variety of tapas. However, I found the tomato coca and the potato tapa a little over-seasoned for me, although everything was succulent. The cocktails, on the other hand, lacked punch compared with other bars we've frequented.

Hello Jari, You can take the Aerobús (A1 or A2) from the airport to Plaça d'Espanya, then transfer to L1 (red line) to Glòries, and walk to your hotel from there. Best,

I disagree. We had the BEST grilled lobster and paella while looking at the Mediterranean Sea. A Barcelona must.
