  1. Boqueria Expirience - Miguel Pérez (28 Oct 2015 - 09:20)

One of the things I liked more was the Boqueria Market. I was fascinated with these colourful and bustling place full of all kind people and fresh local products and foods.

I could even go further and feel these essence and flavours in Bellvitja Brindisa, a restaurant in the same Raval district really close to "la Boqueria" where products comes directly from the market and where you can enjoy a Boqueria Gatronomic Experience.

Take a look to http://eatboqueria.com/location/raval-district/, the unique website where you can book in advance this kind of market menus.

i really love the meals in the imprevist deliciouse you must go:0

  4. African food - Alhaji (28 May 2012 - 08:30)

If you want to taste a real african food then I recommend you AFRICA TAMARANE c/ Riereta, 26 (T.+34 93 442 8089) If you want to discover new food and drinks from Sierra Leone. You can start with the different natural drinks like swa-swa, ginger drink or the palm wine, and continue with african "tapas" or the fou-fou. Feel Africa with the 5 senses.

  5. Cera 23 - Viktor Bologan (7 May 2012 - 08:45)

Thanks Chris Bale for discovering this place for me and my wife, as someone said in Tripadvisor, it is a "diamond in the rough". I went there for dinner last week and as it was my best night out in Barcelona, I promised the guys (three young galician boys) that I would recommend it to everyone.
Dinner was fantastic, and very cheap for a city like Barcelona. We had octopus, monkfish and an entrecot which was mouthwatering. After home made desserts and an amazing cocktail made with fresh raspberries at the bar. Everything was perfect and the owners/waiters are exceptionally friendly.
    Hats off guys!!

  6. I'VE JUST FOUND ONE - CHRIS BALE (19 Oct 2011 - 09:30)

I've just had dinner in a place called Cera 23, it is located in calle de la Cera (guess the number). Great guys, really good food and the price made me forget I was eating in ripping-off Barcelona. Really good value for money, I can tell you that.
Check out their Gin-Tonics too... astonishing!

  7. What about a vegetarian!? - Michael (3 Jun 2011 - 16:09)

Sesamo is by far the best vegetarian restaurant I've been to, and I think it should be among the best ones to eat in the Raval if not Barcelona. The tasting menu is a must.
You guys should check it out!
