Located in the heart of the lively Boqueria market, Direkte is a unique establishment. With only 9 seats around a counter, this restaurant offers an intimate, interactive experience where chefs Arnau Muñío and Shu Zhang prepare dishes in front of you that are a blend of Catalan, Asian and slow food fusion. An almost religious atmosphere, surgical precision and detonating savoir-faire sum up the place.

Direkte Boqueria, the culinary experience of the moment

Direkte's menu is a celebration of local and seasonal ingredients, enhanced by touches of Korean, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. We opted for the tasting menu of 7 courses and 2 desserts.

 

Highlights include shrimp with smoked green tea kombucha, king crab in pork broth with Korean mustard and daikon, and miso scallops with pickled mushrooms and water chestnuts. For dessert, the smoked matcha cheesecake has already become a classic.

 

The wine list is also outstanding, with surprising options such as manzanilla, Pyrenean sake and wines with no added sulfites from the Alfredo Arribas cellar.

Hello Dan! Yes, the T-casual ticket (which allows 10 journeys) is NOT a multi-person ticket. It is valid for one person only, meaning it cannot be shared between two travelers. Each person would need their own T-casual ticket. If you want a multi-person option, you should go for the T-usual (unlimited travel for 30 days, personal) or the T-grup (70 journeys for multiple users). Let me know if you need more details!

Hello John, Yes, you can board the Aerobus A2 at Plaça Universitat before it reaches Plaça Catalunya to head to the airport. The Aerobus service (line A2) is specifically designed to connect the city center with Barcelona-El Prat Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) efficiently. Hello alan, The closest Aerobús stop to Barcelona’s cruise port is Plaça Espanya. From there: Take the green metro line (L3) toward "Zona Universitària" and get off at Drassanes (two stops). Walk about 15 minutes to the World Trade Center (WTC). At the WTC, you’ll find a shuttle called the Cruise Bus that runs directly to the cruise terminals. The cost is approximately €4.50 round-trip.
