    Bar Alegría - Barcelona

When Thomas Abellan took over the Bar Alegría, he had on his shoulders the weight of more than 120 years of tradition, quality, and good spirits.

Good mood because, as its name indicates, the Bar Alegría became a meeting place and a place of socialization for a heterogeneous group of people from Barcelona since its opening in 1899. With the help of his father Carlos Abellan, one of the great Catalan chefs of the generation of Sergi Arola, José Andrés, and Ferran Adrià, they have kept the modernist charm of the place while modernizing its gastronomic offer. The menu now includes classic tapas and seasonal dishes. We loved the tortilla with truffles and we let you discover "El bikini de mi padre".

A nice list of natural wines.

It is absolutely necessary to book (link on their site).

@Dan
Hello Dan! Yes, the T-casual ticket (which allows 10 journeys) is NOT a multi-person ticket. It is valid for one person only, meaning it cannot be shared between two travelers. Each person would need their own T-casual ticket. If you want a multi-person option, you should go for the T-usual (unlimited travel for 30 days, personal) or the T-grup (70 journeys for multiple users). Let me know if you need more details!

@John
Hello John, Yes, you can board the Aerobus A2 at Plaça Universitat before it reaches Plaça Catalunya to head to the airport. The Aerobus service (line A2) is specifically designed to connect the city center with Barcelona-El Prat Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) efficiently. At Plaça Universitat, there is a designated Aerobus stop, so you can get on the bus there. Just make sure you are at the correct stop for the A2 line if you're heading to Terminal 2. If you’d like to check the route, schedule, and ticket information, you can visit this same page for Aerobus tickets. Let me know if you need more help planning your trip!

@alan
Hello alan, The closest Aerobús stop to Barcelona’s cruise port is Plaça Espanya. From there: Take the green metro line (L3) toward "Zona Universitària" and get off at Drassanes (two stops). Walk about 15 minutes to the World Trade Center (WTC). At the WTC, you’ll find a shuttle called the Cruise Bus that runs directly to the cruise terminals. The cost is approximately €4.50 round-trip. Best,
