Park Güell opening hours
Park Güell is a famous tourist site in Barcelona known for its serpentine ceramic bench, its famous lizard - emblem of the park - or for its magnificent view of the city. It is considered a tribute to nature by its architect Antoni Gaudí.
You can visit its monumental area, which is a paying area, unlike the forest area, which is free.
- You must buy a ticket for Park Guell if you plan to visit it.

Last admission
The last admission to Park Güell is always about 60 minutes before the park closes. It is strongly recommended to buy tickets online in advance, especially in the summer during the high tourist season. If you do not buy a ticket in advance and the queue at the entrance is too long, you will probably not be able to visit the park.
Park Güell opening times on public holidays
Park Güell is open all year round, 365 days a year. This means you can visit the park on 25 December or 1 January. No closing on public holidays does not mean any visitors. Plan your visit in advance by reserving your Park Güell Tickets.
Best time to visit Park Güell
Park Güell is a popular site for both foreign and Catalan tourists. To avoid crowds, it is advisable to visit the park in the morning or at the end of the day, just after the opening or in the late afternoon. Evening visits are more pleasant as most visitors leave the park. It is particularly important to keep to these times at weekends when the park is busiest.
The best season to visit Park Guell
The best time to visit Park Güell is in January, February, March, April, November, or December when temperatures are pleasant, rainy days are rare and the park is less crowded.
May and October are also good months to visit, with slightly warmer temperatures. The high tourist season - June, July, August, and September - is of course ideal for the climate, but this is the time of year when the park is most crowded.
