This accommodation truly lives up to its name. The rooms are bright and clean, creating a relaxing atmosphere. While they may not be very large, the clever use of mirrors and light makes them feel spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was kept in good condition. Despite staying on the second floor facing the street with an open window (avoiding air conditioning), I did not experience any issues with noise. The hallway exudes a luxurious vibe and the standout features were definitely the rooftop area and the cozy sitting area equipped with sofas, chairs, a workspace, and lockers. This space is conveniently located next to the breakfast area, which serves delicious food with a variety of fresh options. The location was perfect for my needs, as it is close to the harbor and a mere couple of minute's walk from the nearest metro station. The surrounding street may not look the best, but it didn't affect my stay at all (plus, there is a police station just one block away). It's also easily walkable to popular spots like Barri Gothic and Ramblas. And last but certainly not least, the staff were exceptional! They were incredibly friendly and helpful, earning my admiration. Thank you for a great stay! 😀...
Arrived late at 7.30 pm and headed out for a bite to eat. The neighbourhood wasn't the best, but we still enjoyed a meal at Asian Ways as well as a couple of beers. We'd recommend the Thai restaurant; it was around 50 pounds for starters, main meals and two rounds of beers. After, we had a couple of drinks at the hotel's rooftop bar. It was reasonably priced and even had a small pool - perfect for chilling out after a day of sightseeing. The staff were outstanding; very attentive, polite and they even spoke excellent English, which was very helpful when asking for directions. The room was a little small, but decorated to a high standard. It would have been a 5-star experience if the hotel was located in a better area.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The welcoming staff set the tone for a great experience. The cleanliness and decor made us feel right at home. The rooms are a bit small, but adequate for a city break. We really could have used a few more coat hangers. The roof terrace was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The location of the hotel is ideal, being off a major road if you'd rather not take the back streets at night.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was small but clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was okay.
We decided to stay at Casa Lit Barcelona by Ona Hotels and it was an okay experience overall. We had a room facing the street side which was quite noisy and smelt of urine. After a few days we switched to the opposite side of the hotel and it was much better. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room although small was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the breakfast was satisfactory. All in all, it was an okay experience.
Casa Lit Barcelona by Ona Hotels was a great disappointment. Although in a good location, the surrounding area was far from desirable. Drug addicts, homeless people and prostitutes were regularly found in the street outside, and a rehab centre was just around the corner. It wasn't the greatest atmosphere to come back to after a day of sightseeing, and it certainly didn't feel safe walking around at night. Inside the hotel was equally disappointing. The room was very basic, with only 5 coat hangers and nowhere to unpack. There was no kettle, toilet brush or TV (which didn't work). The only hot food option was a strange tasting scrambled egg. Not great when you have to leave early in the morning! With such a low standard of accommodation, its safe to say this hotel was not for us.
