The location of this hotel is prime - just a short walk from La Rambla and directly across from Gaudi's Palau Guel. This makes it ideal for exploring all of Barcelona's top attractions and indulging in some shopping and dining. Although the hotel is on the smaller side, it is well-maintained and boasts a modern design. The elevators may be a bit snug, fitting only four people at a time, but the staff more than make up for it with their warm and friendly demeanor. In fact, they were fluent in English and French, making communication effortless. The rooms are spacious and kept in impeccable condition, equipped with a safe and kettle. For stunning views of Barcelona, I would suggest requesting a room on the 4th, 5th, or 6th floor which also come with a terrace. The breakfast spread may be typical of European standards, but there is plenty of variety and it's of good quality. And let me tell you, the staff went above and beyond by noticing it was my birthday and surprising me with a bottle of cava and two glasses in our room. It was a lovely touch that truly made our stay memorable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Barcelona.
🏨 My stay in Barcelona was made even better by the amazing hotel and staff. 😍 Despite receiving some upsetting news, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. 🙏 The hotel itself was spotless and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. 🌟 Perfectly situated in a great location, I couldn't have asked for more. A heartfelt thank you to the staff who made my stay unforgettable. 💜 -Jo Carlin.
We recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona for 5 nights in March, and overall we had a pleasant experience. While there were a few minor issues, the benefits of our stay outweighed them. One of the major perks was the location - we were within walking distance of everything, and if we needed to go further the metro was easily accessible. Our room was fantastic, and we highly recommend choosing a Superior Double with a terrace. From our terrace, we could see the Palace Guell and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. The only drawbacks were the thin walls in the old building and the small, old elevator, but they didn't bother us too much. The beds were comfortable and the staff was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was good and everything was clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
This was my sixth visit to Barcelona, a city that holds a special place in my heart. However, my previous experiences with hotels in this city have been hit or miss. That is, until my recent stay at a particular hotel that truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived on an early Sunday morning (10/3/24), we were impressed by the sight of the grand Güell Palace across the street. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, a rare find in the world of hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even provided helpful recommendations for dining and shopping. The rooms were impeccably clean and serviced daily. I highly recommend opting for the breakfast option when booking, as it offers a variety of fresh pastries, cereals, meats, and cheeses to suit any palate. Some reviews have mentioned the lack of tea or coffee making facilities, but in my opinion, this only encourages guests to explore the charming independent coffee shops in the neighborhood. The hotel also offers a storage area for baggage, which we were allowed to use on our last day without any additional cost. This level of service truly impressed me. The kind receptionist even allowed us to use the restroom and take one last look at the breathtaking rooftop terrace, a must-see for anyone staying here. It's safe to say that I left the hotel with a heavy heart, not wanting to leave. When I return to Barcelona, I will most definitely be staying at this wonderful hotel again. A big thank you to everyone who made our stay at this hotel so perfect.
This hotel exceeded our expectations during our 4-night stay. The room was well-equipped, cleaned daily, and had everything we needed. Its location, just off the Ramblas, was unbeatable and made it easy to explore the city. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a wide variety of food and drinks. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, even storing our luggage free of charge until our evening flight. We also enjoyed spending time on the lovely roof terrace. Overall, this hotel offered great value for money and we would definitely return.
