During my stay, the room was equipped with a kettle and supplies for coffee and tea, including powdered milk. However, these were not replenished during my second day, which was quite disappointing. The fridge in the room was functional, but the two single beds were a bit on the harder side. While I understand that personal preferences vary, this did affect my comfort. Unfortunately, I have to give a lower rating due to the housekeeping team bleaching my husband's clothing. Despite informing the reception staff and providing photos, no action was taken. I was given an email address that ended up bouncing back and when I messaged the hotel directly, I still did not receive a response. The lack of customer service and care was disheartening and it seems like they simply brushed us off to the manager. It's been some time and we're still waiting for a reply. Considering the price of the hotel, I had expected much better customer service.
During my stay at Hotel Best Auto Hogar in Barcelona, I was pleased with the overall cleanliness of the rooms. While they were basic, the friendly staff made my experience enjoyable. The breakfast selection was also quite good. Upon arrival, I took advantage of the convenient train station nearby and purchased a multi-travel card, which allowed me to easily navigate the city using public transport including trains, the underground metro, trams, and buses. It was a great deal and highly recommended. I also made sure to pay a visit to the indoor markets, which were a must-see for their cheap and delicious food and drink options.
The hotel was a fantastic choice for our stay. The room was impeccably maintained and offered all the necessary amenities. Imagine our surprise when we found toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a comb in the bathroom. Not to mention the body shampoo, hair and body milk. The room even had a kettle with both regular and decaffeinated coffee, milk powder, and an assortment of teas. The cleaning service ensured that our room was spotless and fresh towels were provided daily. We were blown away by the exceptional breakfast, which consisted of a variety of salami, cheeses, eggs prepared in different ways, sausages, fruit, and a wide selection of both sweet and savory pastries. The hotel's location was unbeatable, only a short distance from the city center. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always willing to assist us with any request. Our experience here exceeded all expectations.
I had a very nice stay at this hotel. I had a corner balcony, so while there was a bit of noise from the main road, I had a fantastic view to make up for it. When I closed the door, it was completely silent. I would definitely stay here again and ask for Room 1606.
We wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. The food was the only redeeming feature, but other than that, the room was dirty, the AC was loud and ineffective, the window faced a small internal area without any airflow. To add insult to injury, we were even denied a spoon for tea or coffee! When we asked about it, we were simply told "I don't have".
