🌇This hotel was truly 💖, with an amazing location to explore 🚶♂️the city from. We had a delightful breakfast 🍳with lots of options and a friendly staff member named Carlos, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooftop bar 🍸was a highlight, offering stunning views and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out!
During my recent stay in Barcelona, I was disappointed to find that the television in my room was only 32 inches and lacked channels such as BBC or CNN. Additionally, when I requested extra water, the response from the staff was less than satisfactory. The room itself was also quite small, and the rate was expensive considering the lack of included breakfast. I was also disappointed by the arrogant and unfriendly manner in which the management treated guests, making us feel unimportant.
Our recent stay at a hotel in Barcelona was fantastic and we would definitely consider staying here again. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. We even received a complimentary cocktail voucher to enjoy at the hotel's rooftop bar. The hotel itself was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was lovely and the air conditioning was a relief from the hot weather outside. While the pool area was well-maintained, the pool itself was on the smaller side. Some reviewers have mentioned the hotel's location, but we found it to be perfectly situated near the busy Ramblas, which is to be expected when booking a hotel there. The rooms may not be the largest, but this is typical for a city like Barcelona. Additionally, the market is conveniently located nearby with plenty of delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. And if you have the time, we highly recommend checking out the First Bar just around the corner.
During our trip to Barcelona, we had the pleasure of staying at a certain hotel, which certainly added to our overall wonderful experience. Although our room was not extravagant, it was kept clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. However, the real highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff, who provided exceptional service and hospitality. Their kindness and attentiveness truly showed their expertise in the industry. The hotel's location was also ideal for exploring the Gothic Quarter, and the subway was conveniently just a few steps away. Overall, we would gladly choose to stay here again.
I cannot find a single fault with my experience at Hotel España Ramblas. This stunning building both inside and out left me in awe. The staff were all incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with anything I needed. Housekeeping was top-notch, keeping my room clean and tidy throughout my stay. The rooftop terrace had a wonderful atmosphere and was perfect for sipping cocktails and taking in the city views. And a good night's sleep was ensured, as I experienced no noise disruptions and rested comfortably in the spacious bed.
While the rooms may not be the largest, they are certainly more than adequate. Equipped with a comfortable bed, a mini fridge stocked with complimentary water and juice, and a generously sized bathroom, I had everything I needed and more. The location of this hotel could not have been better - right on La Ramblas and only a short walk from the metro station, which proved to be a convenient and easy mode of transportation. I highly recommend getting a day travel pass to make the most of your time in Barcelona.
Most attractions are within walking distance, but do keep in mind that some areas of the city have steep hills. A bus ride to Parc Guell is highly recommended, and be sure to book tickets in advance as they sell out quickly. There are also numerous charming squares to stumble upon and explore around the hotel. And don't miss the food market for a truly local experience.
I felt completely safe throughout my stay and never once felt scared. Barcelona is a stunning city with the added bonus of a beautiful beach and marina. I can't wait to return with my family and without a doubt, I will be booking my stay at Hotel España again.
