🏨 My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel, looking for a relaxing getaway without the kids 👨👩👧👦 The overall experience was pleasant, but there are a few things to keep in mind based on other reviews. The hotel has a modern and stylish design, and our room was clean and tidy. I highly recommend booking a superior room with a balcony - it's worth it! ☀️🍹 The rooftop terrace is small but perfect for sunbathing. The hotel's central location ensures easy access to all the major sights, but be prepared to do a lot of walking. 💃 The staff were professional and polite throughout our stay. However, it was disappointing that the room did not have any tea-making facilities and the alternative coffee pod machine wasn't satisfactory. To make matters worse, the on-site tea was overpriced and weak, even after using 2 bags. 🍵 Upon check-in, we were given 2 complimentary drink vouchers, but the bar was closed for all 3 days due to private events, so we couldn't use them. 😞 Our room was only cleaned once during our 4-day stay, which resulted in us having to ask for essentials like toilet paper and coffee pods. 💩🤷♂️ Lastly, the minibar was exorbitantly priced, so we opted to buy drinks from the nearby supermarkets. 😉 Overall, these minor issues did not significantly impact our stay and we would consider returning.👍
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel after reading great reviews in 2022 and I was not disappointed. The location was perfect, within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed my stay so much that I returned in 2023. The service was prompt and courteous, and they were very helpful in arranging transportation for me. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Our stay here was 💯 in line with our expectations! From the 🔥 welcome to the 🏙️ view from our balcony, everything was 👌. The rooms were convenient and the breakfast was 💰. But, I do have a couple of small 🙋♀️: first, the TV only had limited channels in languages other than Spanish or Catalan, which could be a problem if you're stuck in the room for a while. And second, while the balcony was 👌, the smell from the kitchen could be a bit 😷 at times. Overall, though, it was a great stay!
This well-located hotel provided a comfortable stay for us. The staff at reception gave us a warm welcome and remained friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Our room, a Superior Granados, had everything we needed and when we requested a kettle, it was promptly provided. However, we didn't anticipate that the room would overlook the main road. While the traffic was not heavy during the day, at night the noise from passersby made it difficult to sleep. We resorted to using earplugs, which thankfully helped. We also had trouble with the TV in the room as most of the English channels had no sound. We reported this to reception, but didn't receive any updates after that. It seems we weren't the only ones to experience this problem, as we read in a previous review. Despite these issues, we did enjoy our stay and especially appreciated the fabulous breakfast with a variety of fresh fruit, pastries, and tasty omelettes. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and bars, offering a variety of options including delicious tapas and Italian cuisine. Las Ramblas was about a 30-minute walk from the hotel, making it convenient to explore.
Recently returned from a trip to a hotel in Barcelona. We got there a few hours before check in and our room was not ready (as expectid and I wouldn't expect to be able to enter earlly) but they did all they could to get our room clean early on the list so were able to have access early. They were albe to kkeep hold of our bags while we went for an explorr of the area. We also had a welcome drink which was a lovley touch. The room - we had a standrd doble room and there was no getting away from the fact the room is small and you can't open your suitse on the floor for reference. However, I wouldn't expect a gaint room for a city brak and we were hardly in the room. If you want more space and a desk etc then you would need to upgrade. Watr and coffe was refilled each day. Room was clean and the bathrrom was a really good size! Half the size of the bedrom with really nice Ritual bathroom products. We didnt hav breakfast at the hotel so cant comment or use the pool but we did go check out the roof top and I bet it is lovly in the sumer. All the stuff were kind and frienly. I would 100% return to this hotel.
