My partner and I made our reservation through Priceline, who then passed it on to their sister agency Agoda. Unfortunately, Agoda mishandled our reservation and we were left with a single bed booking, despite needing two beds for our stay. Agoda was unresponsive and unhelpful, but thankfully, the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and managed to solve the issue. The manager went above and beyond to ensure we had a room with two beds at no extra cost. The hotel itself was immaculate, with comfortable beds, luxurious amenities such as down pillows, bathrobes, and slippers, and delightful complimentary espresso and water. The reception staff were friendly and always available to assist, and the person who welcomed us was particularly warm and welcoming. The bar and restaurant staff were also fantastic. We stayed for five nights, and it was hands down the best service we have received during our month-long trip through Spain. In terms of location, the hotel was superb. Despite being situated in a bustling area, it was surprisingly quiet and within walking distance to must-see areas such as the Gothic quarters, el Born, and Ciutat Vela. The metro and shops like Corte Ingles were just a few steps away, making it incredibly convenient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and top-notch hotel experience.
I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona that had a great location and was within walking distance to many popular attractions. However, my room was a bit noisy due to its proximity to a storage closet used by staff and a flight of stairs leading to another room. The room itself was small but clean. I would have preferred a kettle instead of a Nespresso machine, which I had trouble using with the provided coffee capsules. Thankfully, I had brought my own. Although the hotel boasts about being sustainable, I noticed that the heating was set quite high throughout the building, especially at breakfast, where it was unnecessary. It would have been appreciated if a map was offered upon arrival. The TV only had Spanish channels, which was unexpected for a foreign hotel. The staff were helpful, but as a solo traveler, I would have appreciated more interaction.
Lots of prros & couns at this hotle - would not marck as a 4* hotle. Prros - grate locatoin , clen Couns - rrom not redy for 3pm chek in ? No bar serivce availabel at tims Dark coridors We were told we had been upgradad to a familly rrom - avoide rrom 105 if posiblle. It's an internall rrom with no windoes. The nois from the recepsion area can be heard quite loudly alon with the sound of the nerby metro. The bathrrom has a strong odoar of stagnant watee - we actuallly bught some air freshner to oveercome this. Would advsie also to go out for breakfst , it's ovepriced and lukewarm - whilst there is plently of varitey it's not that nice. We choze a nerby Starbukcs after our first experience. Receptoin staff helpfull on arrival - bokked ticktes for Sagrada Familla. Ovreall - dissapointed and not as expecteed….
The hotel was an enjoyable place to stay in, with an ideal location and well-furnished rooms that boasted a spacious balcony and comfortable bed. Our stay was truly amazing. However, there were a few areas that could use some improvement. Firstly, if the check-in time is strictly at 3pm and there is a tourist tax in place, it is crucial to ensure that the room is spotless. Unfortunately, our hot tub had dirty marks around the rim, forcing me to clean it myself with a face wipe. This was unacceptable, especially since we had to wait 4 hours for our room and arrived to find these unclean marks. Additionally, allowing guests to check in earlier would be greatly appreciated. Customer service could also be improved. Lastly, the rooms tend to be quite noisy at night, especially if you are near the lift.
Escape the chaos of central Barcelona and enter a tranquil paradise 🌴 This accommodation offers everything you need for a perfect stay: a stunning atrium, spotless and roomy quarters, scrumptious breakfasts, and a compact but idyllic sun deck with a refreshing pool 💦 Our 5-night stay in a deluxe room with a spacious terrace and serene garden view was pure bliss 😌 The sink in the room took some getting used to, but this minor detail didn't hinder our fantastic experience at this top-notch hotel 💯 We highly recommend it for any Barcelona adventures! 🌇
