My experience at the "Casa Lirio" Hotel in Barcelona was unfortunately marred by a lack of effective communication and attention to detail. While the property has been converted into a hotel, it seems that certain aspects, such as the shower, were not properly taken care of. During my stay, I encountered the issue of water leaking into my room whenever I took a shower, which required me to use a towel to prevent the excess water from flowing into my living space. This was not only inconvenient, but it also caused me worry as I had a close call of potentially being stranded outside of my room when my electronic key was only valid for one day and a new key was not shared with me.

Furthermore, my request for room service was not fulfilled and instead, I was met with excuses and arguments from the staff regarding my ability to communicate whether I wanted my room to be serviced or not. To make matters worse, there was no one available to attend to any emergencies after 10PM. This lack of prompt and efficient service was disappointing and diminished the overall quality of my stay at the hotel. Despite its otherwise pleasant atmosphere, the poor communication and service experience at "Casa Lirio" Hotel left much to be desired.

This accommodation is situated in the charming Gothic Quarter, just a short walk from the sea and surrounded by the stunning historic city. The room we stayed in was tidy and cozy, with contemporary furnishings that seemed recently updated. We particularly appreciated the inviting communal space and tranquil private outdoor terrace exclusive to guests. The staff stood out for their delightful and accommodating demeanor. I would certainly choose to stay here again and highly suggest this establishment to fellow travelers.

👍 I'm honestly not sure why some people have been giving this place bad reviews. 🤔 Sure, it may not be in the fanciest location, but hey, that's what Google Maps is for! 🗺️ The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and checking in and out was a breeze - we were even able to do most of it online! 💻 They even asked us what kind of pillows we preferred (memory foam or feather) and what temperature we wanted our room to be set at upon arrival - I've never had that happen at other places I've stayed at! 😮 Overall, for a 2-star hotel, it definitely exceeded our expectations in terms of location and value for money. 👌

My stay at Casa Lirio was 👍! The bed 💤 was super comfy and the check-in process was friendly, but a bit low quality 😕. They also required a deposit 💰, which was a bit of a hassle. The room was spacious and nicely decorated 🌟. However, the floors were a bit scuffed and not the cleanest 🧹. It almost looked like a DIY hotel 🛠️. Annoyingly, I had to turn off the air conditioning at one point and soon enough, the room started to stink 🤢. Apparently, there were some plumbing issues causing a bad smell, but I discovered that leaving the AC on with positive air pressure 💨 helped keep the smell away. So, keep your AC running at all times! Overall, Casa Lirio 🏨 was a decent choice for my stay in Barcelona 🌇.

The staff at the Casa Lirio Hotel in Barcelona were especially accommodating and helpful. The room was spotless and even included a complimentary bottle of water for our convenience. The bathroom was impeccably clean and fresh. Its location was perfect - easy to find and conveniently situated. The only downside was the small lift, which unfortunately wasn't wide enough for our child buggy, our small luggage, and our big luggage. Nonetheless, everything else was excellent.
