This budget hotel located at one end of La Rambla was in the perfect location for our trip to Barcelona. The room was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately lacked a dresser for us to unpack into. As a result, we lived out of our suitcases for the entirety of our three-day stay. The elevator, while functional, had some sticky buttons that required a bit of patience. We hope that the management will take note and fix this issue for future guests. On the plus side, our room rate included a satisfying breakfast with both hot and cold options available. Despite the minor inconveniences, we would consider staying here again in the future. It's worth noting that during our visit in December 2023, there was a significant amount of construction on the lower part of La Rambla, making it slightly more challenging to access via Uber.
During my brief stay in Barcelona, my accommodation was centrally located on the bustling Ramblas. While this was convenient for exploring the city, it also made for a noisy evening as my room faced the lively street. The price I paid was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area, but I was slightly disappointed with the level of comfort in my room.
The service and accommodations were exceptional. Our only regret was not choosing a room with a double bed. The in-room safe was a bit tricky to navigate, but the receptionist was extremely helpful, especially the one who assisted us during check-in. She went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I was pleasantly surprised with a birthday treat on the morning of my 50th. Our stay at a hotel on La Rambala in Barcelona was truly unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location and excellent staff. I wish we had planned for a longer visit. Regards, Giovanni De Maria and Anita Alison Arora. Overall, a 5-star stay.
After attempting to directly contact the hotel before publishing my review and receiving no response, I was surprised to receive a survey a few days after check-out. While I want to commend the professionalism and kindness of one particular employee, my stay fell short of my expectations for a 4-star hotel. Here are a few reasons why: firstly, I had requested an early check-in, but upon my arrival, it was clear that this request had not been considered and we were turned away rather rudely. Additionally, my room was not cleaned by 4pm, and when I tried to call the front desk, there was no answer. I was then told to wait 30 minutes, but as I only had a short window for rest and a shower before my evening meetings, I asked for my room to be cleaned after I left. However, I was denied as the room service apparently finishes at 5pm. This is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel, especially considering the high price I paid for my room. Finally, when we requested a taxi for an early morning check-out, we were promised a wake-up call at 3:50am which was never received. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have had so far.
🏨 My 5-night stay was fantastic! The 🤗 staff went above and beyond, arranging an early check-in and even helping me find a 🚕 to the airport. The hotel's 📍location on the bustling Ramblas street was 👌, with the port and Drassanes metro station just a stone's throw away. However, the room was a bit too 📏 small and the breakfast lacked variety. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.
