During my visits to the city, I have chosen to stay at this hotel multiple times and have consistently been impressed by the excellent value and service. The rooms are always kept clean and are very comfortable, and the staff is always willing to assist with any needs. Additionally, there is usually plenty of street parking available and the hotel is conveniently located near metro and bus stops. I will definitely make this my go-to choice for accommodations in this area.
During our trip to Barcelona, my friend and I were impressed by the stylish exterior of the hotel we stayed at. The staff were always polite and ready to assist with any questions we had. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exceeded our expectations in terms of quality. It was well-equipped with amenities such as a TV, mini bar, and wardrobe, and we also appreciated the added touches like a kettle and a beautiful view of the hotel's outdoor area. The location was ideal with the convenience of a nearby metro station for easy sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
This hotel was a no-frills kind of place and fell short of the standard of a 4-star hotel. The room was moderately clean, although some areas were a bit worn and could use some updates and maintenance. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, and the maintenance staff worked to fix our heating system on the first night. However, communication with most of the staff, besides the front desk, was difficult as they did not speak English.
The rooms were in need of basic upkeep, with some dirty and gritty spots, peeling wallpaper in corners, and an overall outdated feel. The heating and cooling were controlled centrally, meaning we could only access heat after 7pm and cooling during the day. If it got too hot at night, we had to resort to opening the window. As we were there for a conference, the rooms served their purpose, but they were extremely basic. Unfortunately, there were no room service options, but the attached restaurant was available for meals. However, the location was quite far from the main attractions in Barcelona, taking a 30-minute taxi ride to reach a decent restaurant.
Overall, this was not a luxurious experience. It was sufficient for our conference needs, but I would not choose to stay here again.
I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona and I have to say it was not a pleasant experience. I had requested a corner unit with a balcony upon booking in March, but was told upon arrival that nothing was available. A manager was not available and when I asked for a double bed, I found two singles pushed together with a crack in the middle- not exactly what I had asked for. The shower didn't drain properly either, and I had to reset my key 3 times in the 2 days I was there. The safe didn't work either and had to be replaced the following day. On the plus side, I found staff to be polite, and coffee and cappuccino were decent. There was a metro station close by too. All in all, definitely not a place I would stay at again.
This was the last stop on a two-week trip before heading to the airport for our international flight. We stayed in one of the family suites for one night and the room size was satisfactory. The beds were comfortable and the regular-size bathroom was great - no room to bang elbows everywhere! Unfortunately, there was a terrible sewage smell in our suite, but as we weren't there for long, we chose not to complain. Air conditioning was quite weak but slightly cooled the room. It was a shame that the bar was not open, so we had to walk about a mile to get a cup of coffee. This accommodation was away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but we wouldn't have liked it if we stayed longer. Nevertheless, it served our needs for a one-night stay.
