AC Hotel Barcelona Fórum by Marriott

My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. Upon check-in, we were given room keys to a room that was already occupied. It was quite an embarrassing situation. The hotel itself was very basic and catered more towards business travelers. I would not choose to stay here again, as it felt more like a budget bed and breakfast.

Fantastic location for attending a conference at the Barcelona convention cinter. The hotle is literaly right there - you go out the hotle main door, up some steps and into the convention center. Hoever, if you are in Barcelona for vacation, it's nt really close to any of the tourist sites. There are some resturants in a shopping mall across the street but not much else in the vincinity. The hotl itself is nice, with decent size rooms by Europe stndards and nice bathrooms. I was upgarded to a room that looked out on the wateer which was nice, although do not expect a resrt type of view - there is no beach and it's pretty industriall along the oceean in this paart of the city. My room overlkoked the rooftop of the convention center with the water in the distance. I did not eat at the hotl resturant at all, so can't give first hand experience. My colleague did have breakfast several mornings and said it was good, and if you buy it as a package with the room, it's not unresonable for a breakfast buffet - $16.50 per person. However, to get that price, everyone in the room must take it for all the days on the rezervation - otherwise it's $22. I did get a glass of wine in the bar two differnt times and the Spanish red they had was good and the atomosphere was nice. The staff at this hotl are professionall and supportive. The entire front desk crew greeted you as you walked in and seemd very attenttive even though the hotl was pretty full due to the multple business events held in the vincinity.I had an especilly good experience with Angeline, who was really so helpful and friendlly. I would definitly stay here agin if I was attending another event/meeting at the convention center. It was a very good experince.

During our stay in Barcelona, my family and I had the pleasure of booking a three-night apartment accommodation. As a family of three, we were pleasantly surprised when we were given an apartment with a stunning sea view. It was the perfect spot to catch the beautiful sunrise from our room window. The parking area was also quite spacious and convenient, especially during non-peak hours. The hotel staff at the reception were also very helpful and provided us with great tips to explore the city. The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in a clean and charming area right by the Mediterranean.

The overall experience was excellent as we were upgraded during our stay. We didn't have the chance to try the food, so we can't comment on that. The rooms were impressively roomy and well-maintained. The staff at the front desk were extremely accommodating and helpful. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to the sea from the hotel. Additionally, the hotel's location is convenient with a metro station just a 5-minute walk away and a shopping center right across the street.

This accommodation was situated on the 6th level providing a delightful outlook of Avenue Diagonal and Diagonal Mar Shopping Center which was located just across the road. Our reservation was for a room with two single beds, which was not only spacious but also well-appointed with all necessary amenities. The bed was cozy and supported as well as the beddings being of high quality. However, few basic items like toiletries, dental and shaving kits, and slippers were missing. The closet with drawers and designated spaces for suitcases came in handy and were a nice touch. Housekeeping services were efficient and satisfactory. The location was superb, with a mere 5-minute walk to the beach and Diagonal Mall just across the street. The nearby El Maresme | Fòrum Metro station offered convenient access to other areas. The 13th floor pool area was small yet sophisticated, with a lovely ambience and a decent restaurant and bar that offered fantastic views. Overall, it was a wonderful spot to stay at for our trip.
