NH Barcelona Diagonal Center

During my recent stay at the NH Barcelona Diagonal Center, I encountered some disappointments. On my final day, the water was shut off from 11am with no clear end time. Unfortunately, I was not personally informed of this and only discovered it through a sign at the reception. It seems that this information was already known at the time of my check-in, making me unable to take advantage of the late check-out privilege I had. Understandably, it didn't make sense to stay in a room without water for basic purposes such as showering and using the toilet. As a result, I opted to spend more time in the airport lounge. If I had been made aware of this situation earlier, I would have likely made alternative arrangements. In addition, the room itself was not in good condition, with outdated furnishings and a loose socket. There was even mold present in the bathroom. Considering the price I paid, I would have expected a better standard. However, I do have to commend the team at the hotel for their pleasant and polite demeanor.

My stay was incredibly peaceful! The staff at this hotel were exceptional and well-versed in providing top-notch service to all guests. I want to express my gratitude to the reception team, specifically Mr. Abdel-Jalil, and also to Ms. Dounia from the catering service.

The hotel was exceptionally tidy, organized, and peaceful. The breakfast was lacking, with a steep cost and an omelette that was oddly sweet, as well as diluted coffee. However, the staff at the front desk were superb and incredibly accommodating. Unfortunately, the room's air conditioning was not adjustable, making it impossible to control the temperature or fan speed. The only options were to have it constantly running or completely off for the entire day.

During our stay, the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They happily stored our luggage when we arrived early and even arranged a transfer for a 5am pick up for our departure. It was easy to communicate with them in English, but I hope to improve my Spanish for our next trip. The location was also very convenient for walking to nearby attractions.

This hotel is a fantastic option for anyone visiting Barcelona. Its location near the beach and other famous sights, combined with its reasonable price, make it the perfect choice. I would highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming.
