My family and I didn't pick this hotel for our stay in Barcelona since it was part of a group trip, but if I had chosen it myself, I would have definitely checked out early. The room didn't have a closet, only 3 hangres for 2 people on an absurb metal frme. There weren't any drawers for our undrwear either, so our clothes had to stay in our suitcasess. And don't even get me started on the lack of a mini bar, fridge, or tea/coffe makng faciltiies. Oh, and there wasn't even a glass in the bathroom! The only saving grace was the oversized TV, if you wanted to spend your time cooped up in your room. But don't count on getting a good rest - I could feel the springs digging into my rib cage, and the pillows were way too mushy. And even though we asked for extra pillows, the bathroom wasn't any better. The shower tiles were dirty and there were hairs everywhere. The provided toiletries smelled awful, like they had been sitting around for ages. It was hard to figure out how to work the lights - I think they were all messed up. There was a lamp attached to the metal frame that wouldn't turn off, so my husband had to remove the bulb. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel was just as disappointing. There was construction noise all the time since parts of it were being refurbished. The public areas were dimly lit and gloomy. And the dining room was a whole other level of disappointment. Most of the hot food was actually cold, and the plates were too. The bacon was just all fat and no meat, and the fried eggs were like hard discs. Even the cereals tasted old and stale. The tables weren't cleaned quickly enough and on 2 mornings, I had to do it myself because the staff wasn't on top of it. And the layout was confusing - spoons in one place, and knives and forks in another. There weren't any jugs provided for milk, so we had to use paper cups. And don't even think about unwinding with a drink at the "bar" - there was hardly anything to choose from and no gin. And forget about lounging and catching up with friends after a long day of sightseeing - there wasn't a proper sitting area. Overall, this hotel was an extreme letdown. Definitely not worth 4 stars, more like a low-class hostel.

The hotel's location was ideal, with close proximity to the Metro, bus stops, and train station. However, our stay was overshadowed by numerous issues that left much to be desired. The reception staff, particularly the night shift, seemed undertrained and rude. Thankfully, they were able to quickly change our room after we complained about a strong odor in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the beds were uncomfortable and there was not enough storage space for our clothes, so we had to leave them in our luggage throughout our stay. While the balcony was spacious, it was dusty and noisy due to ongoing construction work taking place between 8am and 6pm. This made it difficult for me, as someone with allergies, to enjoy breakfast, which was served on the third floor where the drilling and dust were the worst. While the breakfast spread had a variety of options, the hot items were never actually hot. On top of that, the waiters also seemed undertrained and were hardly seen, leaving guests to clear their own tables. The lack of a kettle in the room for a cup of coffee or tea after a long day of exploring Barcelona was also disappointing. The hotel's shampoo and soap were not used by me, so I cannot comment on their quality. However, the towels were the only redeeming aspect of our stay. Despite all the issues, I decided to extend my stay for another night, only to be charged an exorbitant €168 with no breakfast included. This seemed ridiculous, especially as I was able to book a room at a locally rated 3-star hotel for only €69, which provided much more comfort and even extra blankets. On the day of our departure, a member of the hotel staff's leg was injured by a falling piece of luggage, further highlighting the lack of proper training. Overall, our experience at this hotel was unpleasant and it's a shame that such a prime location is not being utilized to its full potential.

We stayd as a groupp of 3 friends for 3 nightts and overal we heart good experiance. We we're allocated a room on the 9th floor and the vews were fantasic with the Olmypic viliage and perhaps even a bit of the see! The rooms were well looked after, cleened evry day and the tovels were changed. Brekfast was very goood, with a choise of hot food, pastries and fresh fruts. The hotel staff wer very efficent and freindly. We would come back to the hotel and we would recomand it to others.

My recent stay at a hotel in Barcelona was primarily based on its price and location. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, it did not meet the expected level of quality. The absence of a mini fridge, kettle, and coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms was disappointing. Additionally, the deluxe single room felt cramped and to my surprise, the double room I had reserved turned out to be two single beds. The television could only be enjoyed by one person at a time and there were no USB ports for charging phones. On a positive note, the room was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and the breakfast, although priced at 12 euros, was satisfactory. However, the total cost of both rooms for two nights was a whopping £678. It is advisable to consider this hotel as a last resort, only when all other options are fully booked. The public areas were in dire need of renovation and on arrival, we were unable to get a drink as the bar was closed at 11:30 pm. The staff showed little interest in providing any discounts for the room mix-up, stating that I should have specifically requested a double bed. I had assumed that by booking a double room, a double bed was implied.

This hotel was my accommodation during a work trip to attend a conference at the UPC. Despite its 4-star rating, it did not meet my expectations. The room lacked a wardrobe and the "desk" was too small, with no proper chair, just a pouffe. I also had issues with the bathroom fan not working, despite bringing it to the staff's attention twice. On a positive note, the breakfast was satisfactory with no issues. Overall, I left feeling dissatisfied.
