This hotel certainly lives up to its name by not being a place you'd want to spend a lot of time in. Its design almost urges you to be out and about all day, only returning for a quick rest. However, the location near the Sants railway station - a mere 5-minute walk - was the main reason for our choice. The room itself was kept clean and neat, thanks to the friendly staff who tidied it daily. Unfortunately, the room was quite small for two adults (approximately 3m x 5m), leaving very little space for movement. With only enough room for one person's belongings, I had to resort to keeping my clothes on the floor when getting changed. To make matters worse, the safe in the room was broken and when I brought it up to the receptionist, they blamed it on COVID, which didn't make much sense to me. The bathroom was equally disappointing, with a shower head that was too big for the tiny cubicle, resulting in water splashing everywhere. Trying to adjust the water temperature was also a challenge. The provided soap and shower gels were cheap and lacked any scent, making it hard to lather. It was also disappointing to find that there were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. Overall, the hotel lacked charm and space, and not worth the price of €150 per night.
We had a really nice stay, absolutely no issues, the toiletries were great and the atmosphere was stunning, plus the pricing and location were unbeatable. I definitely reccommend for those looking for a fantastic stay at a reasonable value.

We chose this hotel to avoid the crowds in the heart of Barcelona 😎 and we were pleasantly surprised! The location was 👌, just a short walk from the 🚆 station and not too hectic even on a weekend. Our single room was the perfect size and the bathroom was 💯. Although, it might be a bit snug for someone on the larger side. The only downside was the noisy neighbors who kept 🚪 slamming in the middle of the night when we had to get up at 4am 😩. But, that's not the hotel's fault. If I ever travel solo again, I would definitely 💯 stay here. Can't say for sure about the bigger rooms, but I assume they're just as good. 😉
This was a fantastic place just a short walk from Barcelona Sants. I was meant to be there for one night before heading off to France, however due to strikes my stay was extended to three nights. This gave me the perfect opportunity to explore Barcelona and the surrounding area, something I hadn't done for a while. The staff were amazing, even though the rooms were a bit small, they were very efficient. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near some great restaurants. I definitely made a great find here.
I stayed at 'Hotel Transit' in Barcelona twice, once in mid May, and again in mid June. The first stay was for 2 nights, and I did not have to pay in advance. However, for my second stay, the hotel charged the full amount to my Mastercard. Unfortunately, I was unable to stay for the full three nights due to my son having to have major heart surgery. Despite giving the hotel over two weeks notice, they refused to refund my room charge. The rooms were very small - much smaller than any Japanese hotel I have ever stayed in. Booking.com did not assist me in this matter - they said they'd "reach out to Hotel Transit" when I contacted them on the 22nd of May, but they did not follow up on their promise and I had to phone them again on June 3rd, with no success. All in all, a disappointing experience. Terry - Australia.
