Just off the Rambla, you can find the Plaza Real, one of the places with most tradition and interest around the city. It was erected in mid of the 19th Century, it has a fine arcade, palm trees and lamps designed by Gaudi. It is an interesting square ideal to relx and enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes. On Sunday mornings there is a stamp and coin market.

There are some nice clubs in this place! ;)

My name is Sandra and stayed in a hotel in the Plaza Real in July 1960.While I was there I went out with a wonderful man called Luis Armillas at the time he was 22 and I was16.I had a wonderful holiday seeing him everyday and taking me to places the rest of the group never saw.We wrote for a while but as I couldn't speak Spanish and he couldn't speak English we eventually stopped writing the one thing in my life I regret.During that holiday I was the happiest person alive and I know he would always be in my heart.I am now 73 years old have been married for 51 years and have two grown up children but I would love to have contact with my darling Luis as I have never forgotten him and never will.I know he had a sister and lived at CONSIJO CENTRAL 301(hope my spelling is correct)If anyone knows him and could pass this message one I would be the happiest person in the world.I just hope someone will be able to find I must say the LOVE of my life.

  7. Plaza Real - Angelina Mai 2007 (21 May 2007 - 13:14)

  8. very good - ernesto di emilia (9 Feb 2007 - 16:46)
