Banna
All Thai specialties..
Banna, a Thai restaurant with no big pretentions, in a simple environment of the Barcelona quarter of Gracia, offers Thai cuisine at a very good price.
The most attractive place of this restaurant is its terrace, almost always full at any time of the day. We can have starters, full lunch and dinners, as well as beers and tapas any time of the day. Inside you will have two saloons, that fit small groups or couples, to enjoy a quitter atmosphere that on the terrace.
The a la carte offered at Banna, you will find the most typical Thai dishes, being most varied and for all tastes: from salads and fries as entries, to soups, rices, fish and meats, all made from traditional Thai recipes. They also have a good variety of curry dishes, with different hot levels to adapt to all tastes and tolerances.
We recommend to begin with some starters, like the vegetables, shrimps, peanut sauce and mint fresh rolls, or the green papaya with chili salad or the peanut, vegetable and curry cream.
As main dishes, we would recommend the green curry with vegetables, meat, shrimps or chicken; a vegetables wok or the classic Pad Thai, a well-known Thai recipe that has rice spaghetti sauted with vegetables, egg, soja and tamarind sauce. A delicious mix.
All this plates must be accompanied with Thai drinks like the Shinga beer.
On weekdays, the restaurant offers a noon menu, that changes daily and a degustation menu, for those that like to try a bit of everything.
You will be able to enjoy this economical restaurant, since Banna opens almost every day.
