The good news of this early 2017 is certainly the arrival of Costa Pacífico which will quickly become the reference of Mexican restaurants in Barcelona.

But to become your reference you must first love fish and shellfish because as its name suggests it you are on this magnificent Mexican Pacific Coast where fish is on all tables. The opportunity to discover or rediscover some very typical specialties such as ceviche and fish tacos. Recipes unbeatable and rarely equaled in Barcelona. One must have been on the spot to understand that a ceviche is not comparable when it is prepared according to rules and specific flavors.

Costa Pacifico is therefore a "Cevicheria Mexicana" and to put you in the mouth here are some ideas of dishes to taste absolutely: the "green ceviche" (cucumber, avocado, pink onion and fresh pieces of corvina). Also try the tacos of fried fish, or the taco of tuna marinated in hibiscus flowers presented under caramelized onions. Sublime also the tacos of crispy shrimps or the simple "shrimp soup".

It is seasoned with all types of chiles sauces green, red & black. It smells of chipotle, lime, coriander, blue corn, mezcal and margarita.

A remarkable taste journey in a pretty place decorated very simply. Everything we love.
No reservation possible, you must go on the spot.

The quality of food is AWFUL

AWFUL. The quality of food is AWFUL. The evening was spoiled. The result of our visit was a pain in the stomach and bad mood. More than TOO much vinegar in ceviche, it was like vinegar soup with a very few pieces of fish, hardly to be found in the plate. The fish wasn't fresh, the shrimps had strange aftertaste. I recommend it if you want to have an intoxication and spoil the evening.

@John
Hello John, Yes, you can board the Aerobus A2 at Plaça Universitat before it reaches Plaça Catalunya to head to the airport. The Aerobus service (line A2) is specifically designed to connect the city center with Barcelona-El Prat Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) efficiently. At Plaça Universitat, there is a designated Aerobus stop, so you can get on the bus there. Just make sure you are at the correct stop for the A2 line if you're heading to Terminal 2. If you’d like to check the route, schedule, and ticket information, you can visit this same page for Aerobus tickets. Let me know if you need more help planning your trip!

@alan
Hello alan, The closest Aerobús stop to Barcelona’s cruise port is Plaça Espanya. From there: Take the green metro line (L3) toward "Zona Universitària" and get off at Drassanes (two stops). Walk about 15 minutes to the World Trade Center (WTC). At the WTC, you’ll find a shuttle called the Cruise Bus that runs directly to the cruise terminals. The cost is approximately €4.50 round-trip. Best,
