🏨 My stay here was 👌. The service was top-notch and my rooftop suite was 💯 - spacious, cozy, and immaculately clean. Sadly, the wifi in that area was 🚫, but the hotel's location was 👍 and the breakfast was 😋. Overall, a solid choice for a stay in Barcelona.
During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel near the famous Portal de l'Angel street. It was a short stopover on my way to France, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Despite being a 3-star establishment, the hotel was comfortable, well-located, and had a grand foyer. The complimentary bottle of wine in my room was a lovely touch. The weather in Barcelona was a welcome change from my previous and upcoming destinations, with temperatures reaching a delightful 19 degrees. One of the highlights of my stay was discovering a fantastic fast food restaurant called Lady Dumpling. Their mushroom dumplings were absolutely delicious.
This hotel boasts an ideal location, making it easy to access all the top tourist spots, go shopping, hop on the metro, catch the airport bus, or simply explore the charming Gothic quarter. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The room was well-equipped with a cozy bed, modern bathroom, and reliable air conditioning/heating. Although the weather in December was a bit chilly, the breakfast served on the terrace accommodated every craving and desire. Without a doubt, this is a top-notch accommodation that rightfully earns its 5-star ratings.
The hotel we stayed at in Barcelona was truly stunning, situated in a prime location near the Gothic quarter and La Ramblas. The decor was absolutely exquisite and the delightful scent wafting throughout the premises was simply divine. Our room was spacious, boasting high ceilings and equipped with all the necessary amenities. We were lucky to have a small balcony that overlooked the bustling shopping area, yet it remained peacefully quiet at night. The staff were incredibly lovely and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Nestled just a short metro ride away from the main train station, this hotel is located on a stylish pedestrian street lined with high-end shops. The charming old building boasts a tranquil outdoor courtyard with a pool and palm trees. The breakfast was fantastic and the entire place was impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going out of their way to help me secure an appointment for a hair color treatment nearby. The hotel is a quick 5-minute stroll from Barcelona Cathedral and is situated on the cusp of the historic district, with the port and beaches being a pleasant 20-minute walk away. I purchased a multi-use metro pass, but found that I didn't even need it as everything was easily accessible by foot. Leaving was bittersweet, but I know I will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel.
