The accommodation was pleasant, however, I encountered an issue with the internet during my four-day stay on the fourth floor. Despite informing the staff, I was informed that no one had ever complained before. Sadly, I was unable to resolve this problem as I had already used up all of my data. Nevertheless, the rest of my stay was satisfactory.
🏨 Having read previous reviews on this hotel, I was a bit concerned that we had made a mistake in booking it for our stay in Barcelona, but on our arrival we were greeted by very friendly receptionists, the reception itself was clean and tidy, with plenty of information about the various places to visit. Our room was clean and tidy, A/C was working perfectly, no complaints at all. The real feature of this hotel is the rooftop terrace, which has a bar, swimming pool, plenty of places to sit and relax with a lovely view of the sea, the staff were amazing, always willing to help and very friendly, special mention to 🙌 Mateous, who always greeted my partner with a smile and always made us feel welcome! Breakfast had a good choice of food for everyone, which was continually replenished, if I have one complaint, and that is there is no restaurant open in the evening, but you can get snacks 🍴 up on the rooftop terrace, my only reason for giving a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. There are some nice restaurants 🍽️ nearby, very reasonable. Another plus is that there is only a short walk to the beach 🏖️. For the 3 nights we were there, it was a good base and we would come again! 😉
My recent stay in Barcelona was not the best, despite being my 6th visit to the city. Our early morning transfer was at 7:30am but the staff did not allow us to have breakfast beforehand, even though we had already paid for it. Their attitude was quite unpleasant. Next time we visit Barcelona, we will choose a different accommodation option.
We recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona during our trip in July 2023. Our family had been searching for a location close to the beach and the heart of Barcelona, with easy access to restaurants and within our budget. This hotel in the PobleNou district, situated directly across from Mar Bella Beach, met all our requirements. The area is known for its many charming cafes and tapas bars, and also offers convenient proximity to pharmacies, grocery stores, and shopping options. The hotel is conveniently located near a taxi stand and bus stop as well. Though the exterior of the hotel may not be impressive, the lobby greeted us with beautiful decor and a serene garden. The friendly staff at the front desk assisted us in finding adjoining rooms for our family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds and a built-in storage unit. The bathrooms were well-lit and equipped with a large shower and strong water pressure. We also appreciated the mini fridge, safe, and free wifi. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the rooftop terrace, which offered stunning views of Barcelona and the beach. The pool area was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. However, we did find the drinks at the bar a bit pricey compared to other places in the area. However, this did not dampen our overall experience and we would definitely choose to stay here again if we ever visit the area.
Staying at this hotel didn't quite turn out to be the relaxing stay I had anticipated 😔. Upon arriving in the evening, there were no food options unless I decided to go to the bar, which was not ideal considering I had travelled and still had work to do. The Wi-Fi wouldn't work so I couldn't do any work prep, the mirror was too high to use while sitting and the lighting was terrible. To top it all off, the bed had two distinct dips on either side so I basically slept in a ditch 🤦🏻♂️. Not great 🤷🏻♂️.
